I watched 3 people get laid off in the past 2 weeks and were told it’s due to low enrollment, retention. And the word on the street is there will be more before end of year. My position is safe because I’m the only one in it, but it’s hard to see good people go. I know the organization needs to adjust to the bottom line so tgat the campus survives, but it doesn’t make it any easier to go through. I sometimes think they use it as a way of getting rid of people they want out. At least I saw it with 2 of the 3.

I’m noticing conservative business decisions are being made. But that’s doesn’t necessarily mean major layoffs.
