As a Speedway SL, hearing so many things here in the Chicago market. What is the facts??? Heard FIMS and FMC's gone immediately. Recruiters not until Oct 1st. Some AL's gone? Trainers gone? Two weeks severance or one? Some offered alternative positions but take a pay cut? Stores might be closed or sold for franchise? All 7-11 will become corporate eliminating franchises?
Anyone got any answers that are the FACTS?

I have gone through 2 acquisitions each time they haven't learned from the previous mistakes.
Recruiters last day is August 5th
We lost our AM, DM and FMC, all of our support is gone. I work in a franchise store and we have so many things gone wrong and no support to push for resolutions from 7-11 as of current. We've run out of fuel twice since speedway took over our fuel deliveries, have cases that have absolutely no timeframe to be fixed.
I do know that just in my area alone that almost all of our franchise stores have been given back to 7-11 corporate after the cuts were made.
News is saying 880 laid off. Anyone know how many were actually laid off- and what portion from Irving versus Enon? Seems odd to lay off that many people and no notice to the state.

Keep seeing “FIMS” and “FMC”. What does it stand for?
Franchises stores will not be corporate. That will never happen. We can’t just take their stores that they paid for us there’s a contract involved.
Additionally, 7Eleven is a Franchised business model, not corporate. No way SEI can afford all that overhead.
As far as I know, FIMS are gone along with most of marketing and over 40 DM’s. Recruiters last day should be tomorrow.
