I don't understand why it's hitting me this hard but after 12 years and being discarded so unceremoniously, I still feel like cr-p days later. It bugs me that those who make these decisions don't give a damn about how it affects those who are on the receiving end. We are numbers to them, not people with feelings and emotions. I want to stop feeling this way but the hurt is not going away.

Most corporate personal do not understand when a person invests in a 7-11 franchise they actually just bought a job.
It's a scam, Joe Knows,
18 understand the feeling. The place is poisonous, and I have zero trust in this company. They overpaid for Speedway to what? From what I can tell run it into the ground. There will be more to come. The probably 3000 employees already departed over the last year are likely going got be the lucky ones.
Your feelings are normal. It will pass in time and there is life after 7-Eleven. I know you have probably heard this already but it does get better and best you are out now vs later. More cuts will happen. New Board Members are putting pressure on the executive team currently in place for way too long!!
Imagine being a franchise for 14 years bought 2 stores in process and invested more than 200k per store and one day get call to come to hotel and learn they are taking stores back with out any prior brach or lon in matter just giving you 5 braches per store in same day dating back 6 months time frames. Never in past brought issue to your attention and kicking you out with family to feed with young kids and mortgage. I learned hard way this guys are crooks
