I'm still safe, but these cuts are a big lesson to me that one should always, absolutely always look for better options. Top dogs did not show the slightest empathy towards the affected ones, which was to be expected because they only care about themselves, but it is good that the employees are reminded once again that this is the case and that they should look for a way out in time.

Yes. I am supposedly safe but this has my ears perked up for sure. Always have options and better, an always-running Plan B (a side gig).
