Thread regarding Splunk Inc. layoffs

What would be your advice?

Many companies now have a hiring freeze and I was worried that I would have to stay here for a while, but nevertheless, the effort paid off and I managed to get an offer. There are probably those who are very comfortable here, but it was a terrible experience for me personally. If I could advise someone who is thinking about this company as a possible option - my advice would be not to come here at all.

The earnings call this past week is proof that splunk is a alow growth company with no potential except to go to private equity. Escape its gone under and it will take you down with it

They have no qualifications to run a business period.

Follow the advice of the former presidents and HR head who departed. If they could hang on and make lots of money they'd still be there. They knew the stress was too much to take and it's gone under. Past tense. You have to evacuate like the way Saigon and Baghdad residents fled when the capital had fallen.

As long as you get out it's the most important thing. The entire company has been and still is a nightmare. Transition to cloud is a disaster and the company will be sold to private equity where companies go to die.
