Thread regarding Belk layoffs

Sick out

I say all employees band together and do a sick out on a Saturday. Our safety matters, work life balance matters appreciation matters and not a $4 lunch. Having 25-30 employees and 7 do all the work and nothing is said to the rest. I am just over it! You have raised you pay and they are still not staying. They work 2 weeks and quit. So yes you can hire people but not all of us are replaceable.

The new hires are making more money than the seasoned employees. Would be nice to see the seasoned employees get more than a .30 cent raise. Three years and I am making .60 more an hour.

Cheating and abusing Belk associates are the culture of Belk company. It is is what it is. Either Belk is closing or continue kicking your behind to work while big bosses living a good life!

They don't know your jobs. They don't know you. They don't care. Unfortunately, that is how retail jobs are viewed. Stock shelves and ring up the registers. They think your jobs are easy and that you are replaceable. They don't see the mental aggravation of doing the job and it is difficult to find people who can do it long term.

I think Don Hendricks the acting CEO would love to see all of you don’t show up one Saturday walkout. He will write a check for one million dollars to show and appreciate you and Belk solidarity today, You all will not and could not do it because you are all talk and no action! I dare you and Belk CEO dares you!
