Will there be layoffs next month? There have been some rumors lately.

The ship sailed on the R’bed 18 months ago. Anyone still there is coasting, close to retirement or id--t. Not cloud ready, no real security story and management who have no connections in the Fortune 500.
Why so many downvotes on the new product post? I guess I'm talking from ignorance, but I thought we had a good thing going there. What am I missing?
Q2 EBITDA has been trash. The belt tightening is causing a lot of good people to leave on their own, so no need to lay.
There is a new product, though. I don't know a lot of details, but it sounds really solid. SaaS offering, machine learning, pulling data from all the different products. That's exactly the kind of thing Riverbed needs to be selling!
well ask yourself this: Have you heard any reason why there would NOT be a layoff? Great numbers? awesome growth? new product? excellent customer sat scores? huge support contract numbers or refresh opps closing? awesome management that always does right by employees? you are asking the wrong question.
Hiring freezes yes. Expense cutting yes. Layoffs, surprisingly no. Each month or quarter is a wait and see game.
Haven’t there been rumors pretty much every month since the bankruptcy? I’m tired of rumors that have all been wrong. Let’s start a new rumor: people around here don’t know what they’re talking about.
Or any time in the near future?
