Dying company

Does anyone still believe that Avaya can get back on track?

More fundamentally, there’s no product I can think of that can help sales enough to help the company recover. They clung on to legacy or trying to repurpose old definity and IP office again and again. The cloud solutions were just hosted solutions.
Avaya spaces is so disjoint , there’s no reason one would use it over Teams or free google spaces even….
I imagine the old CM and CMS is bringing in some maintenance/renewal money but pretty much running on fumes now…
Oceana was simply an embarrassment , a Frankenstein’s monster to do what smaller turnkey solutions could do.
It’s hard to see how this company can compete agains the likes of new companies like slack, 5 9’s, 8x8 etc. Genesys was smart in acquiring a cloud company and hence can go on. Avaya acquired nortel many years ago with borrowed money but didn’t know what to do with them. No, to answer the question, I can’t see how they can stay afloat much longer let alone make a recovery. Hope I’m wrong though .

Too much debt, it's worthless will be broken up, layoffs will be brutal at least 50% cut this time this would be required prior to sale

IMO. Avaya must go through Chapter 7 so that viable Avaya business segments can flourish.

No. They can't grow without trust. They have no trust. Value in a sale with anniegabization who has the means to refinance their debt. You can't cut and grow, and they must cut to the bare bones. That works if they are acquired and the new company has talent to drive business.
