What do you think about Snowflake

Are they hiring? Because I want to go work there. TD is a train wreck.
Snowflake built an easy to use, scalable cloud database that customers love right in front of Teradata's eyes. Teradata's CTO was asleep at the wheel and dismissed it as a toy. The CEOs and Board were clueless. Teradata never took cloud serious. Now they are paying the price. What does the market think about SNOW and TDC? SNOW - $50B Market Cap, TDC - $4B Market Cap. End of story. #TDCGotSnowBalled
Ok marketing…… you asked the question then didn’t like the answer??
I've watched Slootman on cnbc a few times and came to the conclusion:
Snowflake is led by Gen. George Patton.
Teradata is led by Theodore Cleaver.
Which do you think prospects and investors have more faith in ?
It's a great product and customers love it.
If you want to know why it's so hard for us to compete with them I recommend that you listen to this podcast with Frank Sloothman who runs Ops at Snowflake - you'll understand that we need a major reorg and a cultural change if we want to be competitive - anyhow, here is the link:
