With more and more companies laying off workers i expect NCR to follow soon. Not like we never had layoffs besides this but this time it will be worse. Expect a 20% US employee headcount reduction at least.

Psh, this is nothing. Worked for NCR from 2010 - 2019 and I can tell you, we saw some SWEEPING layoffs ANNUALLY during that time.
Not surprising for a company that sends you a fu----g plate for a 25 year anniversary. What a joke.
FYI when Midtown first opened, they made this big hoop-de-doo about subsidizing our breakfast to make it cheaper for employees. It worked, breakfast was like $4 (for a substantial breakfast) -- for about a WEEK. Then they pulled the benefit because they didnt like paying for it.
NCR located it's headquarters on a university campus. The idea is to keep the workforce young(aka inexpensive). Each year you can hire 200 new grads at a low rate. When layoffs occur they are age balanced. They get rid of the young employees who don't perform and get rid of someone who is expensive. This is not unique to NCR.
I’m surprised with all the layoffs that there’s actually anyone left in the US
