DXC will be a sleeve sponsor for Man Utd from the new football season
A perfect match. DXC sponsoring a football (soccer) club that used to be the best in Europe but has achieved nothing for over a decade as it went into terminal decline, and whose finances are "interesting" to say the least and quite unable to compete with its former peers with their massive financial support from entire countries ... a club, just like DXC, who think endless management reshuffles and announcements is a substitute for actual progress (winning trophies/clients)
DXC will be a sleeve sponsor for Man Utd from the new football season. That’s where your rise has gone. I’m sure there are comparisons between The Glazers & ManU fans and Mikey 2 and DXC employees.
They did a rebrand at CSC too back in the day….the new logo came out (red rectangle with 2 opposite corners cut with a white CSC) and everyone joked that at CSC they cut corners. DXC went from god awful black and white to purple and black, and spent millions, never got that shirt I was promised from HR. What the F does DXC even stand for? I worked there for 5 years and I don’t even know. Glad I got out of that dead end sinking ship.
As an outsider, I would say the purple logo is an improvement over the binoculars, but not sure it has done much to change any brand awareness or perception. I've not seen the logo on anything despite the fact they spent 100 million last year on 50 media outlets and launched 1 product line. If you tell someone you used to work for DXC, they will always reply with "Who?" or "What's that?" - at least when CSC invested in dr-g-crazed cyclists, the brand became known for a short-time.
The purple colour is definitely a better change - btw not sure what you can market in a service space when your existing customers are not happy and would not want to reference.
didn't realize DXC had a marketing unit or a CMO - besides turning the black and white logo purple what exactly have they come up with in the past 5 years?
Hard to market this t*rd of a company. The rebrand and website would have been better if a high school project. Why so many people in marketing when it does nothing
