Well I get paid on what TCV I book and most of the execs are inventivised on revenue - so we keep selling garbage (unfortunately that is all we have) at a lower price and move on.

1ziz+1hjuTWFN - great post with worsening economic picture in US and the rest of the west - see rush of collapses and companies being split apart and sold off - asset stripping and dumping en masse - cue DXC

The reality is until they keep under bidding each other the market will always shrink.

How can a contract that was priced 10 years ago be done by a competitor or rebid at 20% cheaper. If you include inflation over the period it would be around 50% cheaper.

That's why the industry is in a mess. If for one minute the multi million dollar execs thought that prices need to go up then there wouldnt be the constant shrinkage and cutting in the industry.

With inflation at 8-10% hopefully they will realise that they were always shooting themselves and the industry in the foot and will stop under bidding each other going forward.

Isn't that how we got in this mess in the first place?
