Yes DannyD got fired. Except he was already a loaded w/ cash and didnt need to work so probably he finally just got a fat payout to walk because he was Billy Stones buddy. Smart. That leaves his little housekeeper in charge who will also soon be fired with a package because in her time here, she was head of Sales and sold nothing, then has driven most of the good folks off with the lying and backstabbing. I have only stuck around because I plan on retiring in a year. Maybe they will give me a package.
All that matters is that the executive team gets paid and they will continue to make moves to continue this as long as it can last. They buy these companies to generate wealth for the top. The conditions for the employee is not considered important since they can be replaced for lower cost talent or let go to reduce expense.

He strutted around the table shaking hands, looking everyone in the eye and repeating his full name to each person like he was just daring anyone to challenge him. What a tool.
Serious as a serious heart attack the layoffs go on till nobody is left in town. And the fat cat "toms" and the H.R. executives got all their millions and never have to work again. They all got to choose when they left DST - they were not walked out the door in a layoff or backstabbed in a political sceme to make them look disposable.
Of course layoffs are happening, the company is dying. Had DST been a construction company then 20 years from now you could point to a building and say "that was DST's product". But in 20 years there will be nothing left of DST at all. And it was once a world leader. Its managements fault!
Our skills developed aps. They will be forgotten and unused. System will be rewritten. Dst's code will never be used again in most cases. Decades of development erased. Forgotten. All the stress and dealines for nothing. Spilt milk will be valued more than our old code. Its over. Leaders from the past forgotten. Nobody will know what dst means. Other than daylight savings time. Nothing to show for it. Its just money shifting to a different company.

Well there are no DST signs anymore. The company is gone. Everyone knows the plan is to just cut almost everyone in KC. DST is like Enron, its in the past. Never to return. Sad.
The official count is 76 employees, many of them with 20+ years of experience.
Goons running the company, no wonder. These people have no vision and the company has been losing a marketplace for a very long time. It really needed investment to build new products and capture markets. The way they have been laying off to maintain profits with the lack of investment shows they have been circling the drain for a while now.
Around 80 people. Across all positions.
At least 35 got the axe from the Health side.
Any updates on this? I don’t think one person constitutes a lay-off...
The "Toms" of past management set the company up for failure and thus layoff too.

It is no wonder they are laying off they are losing 3 more customers by the end of the year and the sales staff is not bringing on any new customers. Employees are leaving as fast as they can.
