We are hiring like crazy. Just look at all the open positions at UKG right now, there are hundreds of them, if not more! But has anybody been offered a chance to transfer internally before being handed their walking papers? Not that I know of. Horrible way to treat good, loyal employees.

Our Purpose is People - that's our motto.
But not 'our' people as we lay them off.
Sad.
OK, if one was to check the open role listing he'd be able to see 100s of job postings - people that we laid off were not given a chance to apply for any of those roles.
Does this make sense? People laid off had up to 20 years of experience and we chose to lose that knowledge - the excuse is always "a redundant role" but does that really make any sense?
So much good knowledge was lost, this layoff did not make sense
