When others told me that after leaving this miserable place they got jobs where they are paid 30% more, I couldn't believe it.. until I got a job where I got an even bigger increase.
How much more do you get paid since you left this place? Also, is there another side to the coin, are you now under much more pressure and more overwhelmed?

I got a 50% increase in pay and went to work where no one is whining about my race, gender, religion, or orientation. Enjoy your descent into left-wing tribalism, Bose.
Hey, I know, let’s go have a beer with the VP of Counter-cultural Aggrievement and Whining. Just kidding. Let’s not. Let’s go work somewhere else and get a raise instead.
More than 2x what I was making
40% raise here! Left Bose earlier this year and love my new company. Great benefits, an actual travel budget, and a much more welcoming environment. Yes, it's busy - but it's way less stressful than Bose.
Life outside of Bose has been super refreshing. Reinvigorated career path, much interesting and impactful work, great, super smart, and diverse coworkers, much more advanced and contemporary culture, much better base pay, bonuses, company equity, and more. Yeah, read that again.
If you are still in the industry and really desire a growth path while being compensated at the industry/market level - time to set aside the last century glow of Bose and move out, and onward. There actually are many companies that do compare to the Bose of the past and exist in this century, with yes, significantly better compensation.
I got 30-40% increase. Left a couple years ago to go to a large company and couldn’t be happier. In downtown boston without a long commute, bonus that gets paid above target, great benefits, lots of career advancement and a culture that’s incomparable to the supply chain leadership mess I was dealing with at Bose. There are good lower level people in MGSC but wow anyone in a leadership role wouldn’t last a day managing real strategy at an established company. My leadership team is a night and day difference (which probably explains why we are in a different financial position). Also got a promo in the last year with a new title getting DMd regularly on LinkedIn.
I’m senior and I left Bose and got a better salary and a bonus that will actually be paid! My job is now more stressful but it’s worth it bc my new company has a strategy, diversity and growth opportunity in the industry. If you are staying at Bose bc you’re scared to work harder or to have to prove yourself then you have to live with the consequences.
I got a 40% raise and benefits are great. The people are very nice and the job is not very stressful. I have a lot of projects, but nothing that stresses me out. The great thing about the new job is that I am very busy and the day goes by so fast. I actually enjoy going into the office and feel excited about work. When I saw my first paycheck I could not believe it.
I think it depends where you are in your career. I am mid-career and this new job is a great move for me professionally.
