Thread regarding Broadcom Corp. layoffs

Who got a "big" raise?

I love it. Record inflation yet barely enough to cover gas increases. Oh, but we're getting an extra five percent on that bonus that is not guaranteed, and the stock is now down $200 from earlier in the year. Maybe they'll start handing out "Atta Boy" awards. But only under a strict quota. I'm sure Hock's pay will increase 50% or more.

MSD buys another company but can’t give own employees salary increase. Shame on you.

R1 capped at 10%. They keep that comp ratio lower than other companies.

Executives always exaggerate. Practice your leetcode and go to a better company for a real raise.

MSD rank 2 here. Got -0- percent. Lotko is a liar.

There is no work from home, that is except if you fall into some special category, unknown to me. We usually have around 30 to 40% of the people actually coming into the office. Many empty cubes which as per the employee count should be filled.

What I don't understand is why are people complaining. If the company does not give you a raise, then have the ba--s to leave and find another job which is paying better. If you are just complaining and not leaving, then its pretty obvious to the management, that you don't have the skills and will stay for whatever is given. In simple terms, you are making it quite simple for them

Sorry Anonymous, but that is not the way the real world works. If you don't give raises for over two years, then give **** in the third year for people doing their job, you are absolute sc-m. Broadcom is happy to double or triple prices for customers for selling them 30 year old cr-p, but will not even try give COLA increases to employees.

BTW, I'm not sure where you heard 10%. Maybe from some ICB1 or 2 that hasn't got a raise since they were hired. ****, my GM said even getting promoted does not guarantee you a raise.

Just showing up and doing bare minimum is not enough for a raise here. R1 get up to 10% and the better R2 might get 2-3%. Stocks are down everywhere will take a while to make up that $200 loss.
