No way. Most departments are still understaffed and people could be moved around before being laid off. As long as oil prices are where they are we will continue to be very busy. You might see some people leave that are under the COC after it ends on the 8th, but I doubt many will.

Just do your job and focus on what you can control. I doubt layoffs will happen with prices as high as they are. We are doing the jobs of 2 or 3 people in EOR. If the company does layoffs though, then there is nothing you can do so why worry about it?

Oh for sure. You must not be clued into the rumor mill. Ask your boss. They will know for sure. Make sure you say “are you thinking about laying me off”.
