All-hands call today at 9am EDT to blame SGAS' failure on the Queen.
@1szg you have to have viable product to sell. Doesn't matter who is selling, nor who is leading the sales team. I think Sungard forgot to keep innovating. Repackaging and marking up other folks' products will only get you so far, unless you're legitimately adding value.
Regarding workplace recovery, I would imagine that you'd have to be adding more locations, not shutting down existing ones. Plus, Covid more or less blew that model out of the water anyhow, for most customers, once everyone realized you really can do it all from home.
The ho----s outside 401 will be left
@1szg+1iAhh5P3 culture?
Their prized workplace and mobile disaster recovery will save the day!
@puz+1iAhh5P3 Leadership has turned over several times since 2012, but sales have tanked every year regardless of who is at the helm. We've had different CEO's, different CTO's, different head of Sales, but it seems to make no difference. Not sure who is exactly to blame.
"And it's 1 -2 - 3 strikes you're out at the old ball game." What a darn shame that such incompetent leadership led to the demize. RIP SungardAS!
