“ It's hard to believe anything that comes from our Marketing and PR “

These people’s next job should be to go into politics or be FOX news anchors.

“ Considering how O treats its customers do they really think if given the option they would openly and willingly use O as their first option?”

They might if the arguments to do so were presented by a professional sales staff, assisted by confident and competent technical support. However, those people have either left, or been forced out to make way for friends or hangers on.

Once again Oracle isn't breaking out internal revenues (Oracle applications paying for OCI) from external revenues. It would be interesting to see how much external growth there has been.

What's utilization inside their clouds? In other words, how much are people actually USING their cloud licenses? I dearly would like to know. At least they had to admit they are the runt of the little. Let's face it, cloud growth is going to flatten very soon as everyone who will be inclined to use off-prem cloud will, which means you will be fighting for existing customers and the ever shrinking collection of new. If you are the runt of the littler, the odds of you overtaking your competitors shrinks with that pool of new customers. inertia will dictate existing customers will stay put unless their hosts foul things up and to the point where they jump ship.

this entire charade of an article sounds desperate and needy, while knowing the awful truth but refusing to accept it.

Considering how O treats its customers do they really think if given the option they would openly and willingly use O as their first option?
