Decided to check in here and see how things are going and I gotta say, I love the fact that someone from HR/Upper Management keeps commenting on this page.
It's wild to me that they haven't wrapped their heads around the concept that the labor market is not where it was in 1985. People can move between jobs with a snap of a finger and get a huge pay raise doing so.
Instead of making life at CareFirst so much better for the employee that they are willing to turn down a pay bump from another company, HR/Upper Management have insisted on making their lives living he-l.
I'm still in disbelief that I have better benefits, a better work/life balance, AND a six figure salary at my new job. It's a shame, since I liked my co-workers at CF, but BDP just had to throw the entire company down the drain.
