Lack of respect for employees

Just another example of lack of respect for its employees by withholding relevant information.

Salary grades are no longer visible on workday for job postings, so employees cannot tell if they are applying for a promotion, demotion, or lateral.

Seriously…what kind of company pulls this?

If you’re up for a different job, you have the right to ask what the job grade will be. You have the right to ask if it’s a lateral move or promotion. If they offer you a salary increase you have the right to negotiate it. Don’t be afraid to ask for what is fair for the market where you work.

The Yammer posts by HR have stated the grade will no longer be available. And I am not sure where you work, but it isn’t always easy to tell by job title if it is a promotion.

Most lost trust in HR last year when PTO carryover was capped at 40 hours, and this sure doesn’t help improve trust as it does seem sneaky and deceptive.

The job title lets you know whether it’s a promotion. Beyond that I know they’re still working out details on things like job grades. You should be able to see that kind of detail
Again soon. It’s just a change but not intended to hide things or deceive anyone. It just works differently fthan the previous software.
