I am essendant and school orders dont seem especially robust so far this year. I recall being swamped starting in late june in years passed. Are you seeing the same at mason?

Other possibility - Schools is actually up YOY but sourcing has changed . Essendant=Sycamore=Staples. Mmmmm.
And Schools has always been a loss leader. And constant seasonal disruption to operations. For no financial positive. Maybe WB is just getting smarter. About time.
there’s no one left to furlough. if sales are really down that much, the meehans will cut salaries , stop the 401 match , etc .
are all of you expecting another round of furloughs?
if overall sales are down , you know what’s next
- meehan screams at a regional mgr
- regional screams at branch mgr.
- branch mgr screams at …. no reps left to blame !
fwb!!’
overall sales are behind. Period.
They're not going to get better.
school orders are decreased overall due to the lingering covid virus . districts still have plenty of colored paper, glue sticks , etc left over from a few years ago .
however, i do believe that mason had issues fulfilling their part of the contracts in years past, and districts have decided not to award to the brockton b-ms due to “ failure to provide services as specified “
