Thread regarding Art Institutes layoffs

Recent Graduate

I recently graduated and I’m ready to work. Do we not have career advisors anymore? I see lots of jobs on the job board (that’s GREAT) but I’d love to connect with someone who has industry knowledge and not my faculty. They have been teaching too long and are kinda out of touch with the market. Anyone know where the job lady went? She had pink bangs sometimes and was always responsive. Now I don’t know who to go to…….

She quit 🥲. Oh no….who will help us now? Why did no one tell us she quit? She has helped so many of us. I’ll look for her on LinkedIn

She quit. Probably because she reported to a total POS.

Get a LinkedIn account and search by Art Institute grads in your area or places you would like to move to. Your best bet is to talk with alumni working in theirs field. I have found most alumni really supportive. Of course this depends on your degree but overall Ai has grads everywhere. And they know what you are about to go through in a job search.
