I was so excited to be working for HBO Max when it just started and I'm shocked how we got from there to this point in a such short time. I've already started applying once again and I hope I won't be here long enough to see the entire thing come crashing down, which, if the plans of the new leadership are true, is inevitable.

thats interesting bc I'm actually really impressed by the decisions zaslav has made so far. the thing I think people in LA don't realize yet is that LA culture doesn't have very much influence in mainstream society anymore. HBO is doing victory laps over 20M views on GoT, but that's a fraction of the average number of views someone in north carolina gets producing internet content. independently produced media is like amazon, whereas LA and hollywood are like, sears or something.
