Thread regarding HCSC (Health Care Service Corporation) layoffs

Rehiring

I think the company wants short term employees they can recycle, but that's just my personal opinion. This is no longer a place to build a career. That's why I'm leaving, although with great doubts because I don't believe in stories that the grass is much greener anywhere else...
I'm interested in what is the rehiring policy for employees who left this place? I ask in case I regret leaving, although I doubt that will happen.

I am also interested in the answer to this question. At one point if you left on good terms and came back within a certain timeframe you didn’t loose your tenure ( pto accrual ,benefits etc) I’d like to know if HCSC still does this and what that return window is to not be reset. I am full time work from home since before the pandemic and relocating due to personal/family reasons.HCSC doesn’t allow remote work from my new location even though I literally have not be in a physical office for at least 5 years now. I feel that this may change in the near future and the timing is just wrong combined with recent restructuring of my areas upper management. It used to be we advocated for our members/providers and management was good at advocating for us. OP good luck on your search and my the grass be the greenest you’ve ever seen.

As long as you don't burn any bridges on your way out, I doubt you would have an issue getting back in. This was actually a topic of discussion in a recent meeting I was in. In some departments, they are getting so desperate for staff, they are begging former employees to come back.

I know a few people that have left and returned. I think it depends all on whether or not you are leaving on good terms and if you work for a decent manager now.
