... and that means growth. I know this site is made for folks to vent but I have to admit that I am impressed with all the growth that I am seeing. So, things may not be as dismal as one would predict and Oracle may continue to be at the top of the tech pyramid for a while.

Still hilarious to read.
Let's go for -300
Let’s see, adding headcount by spending billions for a company that is outside your core competencies, then layoff your marketing team. Sounds like competent hands are on the wheel.
If it's SC, she can go...
fill in the blank.
Wow this post is epic. This is probably SC.
We hit -200. Lets do -250 next.
Lets get this to -200.

Oracle is NOT at the top of the tech pyramid!
LOL, down -123! Never seen that, and I've been looking at this site for years.
They're hiring young, cheap talent that has little to no experience or knowledge.
This is definitely the most downvoted post I've ever seen. lol
Adding headcount by rehiring the ones that were recently laid off at twice the salary. Great way to run the business.
Sounds like an HR plant.
Release someone with experience and customer relations, and replace them with 2 class of’s … yea that increases the over all count, but weakens the team.
Still adding headcount? But, exactly what kind of people will take a cloud job in a company with 1.5% of the market? Definitely not the best! Oracle mediocrity continues on and the company will not bounce back at any time. You can't just throw money at people to entice them into the company, you have to have a functional company with some market share to speak of to bring good employees in. It just works that way. Oracle has missed the cloud boat. Oracle has missed the chance to hire the best. It is all downhill from here!
LOL
Oracle hasn't been at the top of the tech pyramid for quite a while now. Where have you been?
You must be new. Buckle up.
What is a hiring freeze exactly
Cool story bro
