Thinking about how to invest? Don’t buy stock in toy companies. Don’t invest in Tesla. With the massive layoffs that have occurred, and those that are about to happen, people will not have the security or they money to invest in toys, little kids or big boys!
“ Actually, I'm just here for the schadenfreude.”
Again, you really didn’t need to tell us that. Trolls are like that, but I am impressed that you could use a four syllable word!
“ we have lots of "deadwood" “

At Oracle we have lots of "deadwood" that needs to be "pruned".
A plan. A plan to layoff another 10,000!
Hey, works for starfish
Pruning judiciously removes elements to allow for growth. That, however, is not an adverb that could be applied to the present layoff experience. Cutting OCI skill, cutting youthful enthusiasm, and letting go years of experience and customer relationship. This is not pruning, this is slashing in a desperate attempt to cut headcount and expenses!
So you never heard of pruning?
