Twitter Employees Resigning En Masse, Rejecting "Hardcore" Twitter 2.0

Oracle employees, you can do this too and watch Larry's investment crater.

3700 laid off, another 1200 quit.

7500 down to 2600? And I'm willing to bet most of those left will eventually leave, they just want to find another job first. Elon is an id--t. LE is an id--t too.

These guys have the cash that makes people want to help them. But, I suspect the people at twitter, when Elon took over, were not impressed. I suspect they have gone into "Yes sir" mode. No feedback, no help back to Elon, just do as he says and let him fu-k himself over.

Elon: Make the checkmark blue.
Employees: Yes sir.
Elon: Make the checkmark gray, that will be a great improvement.
Employees: Yes sir.
Elon: Lay off half the company.
Employees: Yes sir.
Elon: Oh, that wasn't good. Force the remaining ones to work twice as hard.
Employees: Yes sir.
Elon: Oh, that wasn't good, they'd rather quit. What the he-l? Don't they know I'm Elon Musk? Who wouldn't want to work for Elon Musk?
Employees: ... crickets ...

Twitter employees are mostly young people and not boomers so they have options.

For now. From what I have seen these young people are even less flexible and adaptable than those boomers people like to trash so much. When the technology shifts (and it will shift) They will be unable to shift with it. Then the real fun begins. They've never seen a real recession, rampant inflation or things like energy shortages.

Easy times and soft men.

Twitter employees are mostly young people and not boomers so they have options. Boomers stay at oracle before no one else wants them. Age discrimination is alive and well in tech

All that brain power out there, with mega tons of experience. With a little capital, they could creat a phoenix to replace the crashing twitter bird!

Elon is a terrible manager. He showed less than zero compassion and a complete disregard for not just the culture but the very technology that supports the business.

Check the news this morning. Elon has “softened” his stance. He didn’t think so many would take the three month severance. Why not? Economy or not, still plenty of jobs in tech.

SO they are throwing tantrums. Cute. My father once taught me to give everything and everyone an honest shot. You might be surprised. don't worry about how if things won't work out. Deal with it if the situation arises. You might surprise yourself.

I hope they all have lots of savings because the way the economy is turning, it might be a while before they are all employed again. I sure wouldn't hire anyone who quits in a snit like that.
