Lots of ignorance and overall immaturity in the comments. Perfect reason why we need the h1b

@Anonymous is correct about the H1B purpose, but it is being abused. If EY hires highly specialized knowledge workers than why does EY spend so much on training them if they already are "experts". They also hire a lot of graduates who transition to H1B with no real experience when it has been proven many times that American students who haven't studied any technical related courses has the ability to transition into these roles if given the opportunity to be provided resources and trained. @John Not all H1B's are low quality staff at EY but we do have many that we are training either recent graduate or experienced hire that are willing to learn and work hard. Yes, we are a body shop in which we sell human services as products...
H1B - Specialty Occupation Workers means US employers may hire foreigners with highly specialized knowledge for a role when they cannot find US citizens with the same competency to fill this role. So going back to your question, EY hires many foreigners because they cannot find equivalent US workers.
Per @John comment, I would say your statement is absolutely a joke. You don't have any evidence about the compensation comparison between FN and US employees. I can read you're pathetic from your comment.
Because all these H1B's are low-quality staff that would perform the low-quality work and EY can make a couple of dollars from them. I have seen the worst performing h1bs get accepted into EY which provides bodies for these corporations.
