Hp has a long history of laying off people this time of year. Wave as your job goes to india!

It was only a matter of time before HP followed in HPE’s footsteps and offshored engineering jobs to India. I was lucky. Most of my former coworkers found better jobs and I did too. Good luck to you but don’t wait too long to get out.
If you can be replaced by somebody working in India, you didn't have a job anyway. You're just smashing keys and eating glue.

I worked for HP twice over the years, at the Boise campus. It's been sad to watch its decline.
Before it was sold off to the city, they had long since disbanded any guard shacks.
Selling it off to the city, made it incredibly easy to liquidate.
And just like GE, HP will go the way of the Dodo...
Well, the Boise campus is a virtual ghost town. The campus is 100% owned by the state of Idaho, and HP rents a very small part of the campus. It once had over 7000 employees, and now we'd be luck if there were even as many as 1000.
Rumor has been that India and South Korea will be where most HP jobs are heading within the next couple of years. So get ready for a very rough year coming up. It won't be a good time to work at HP.
