I like working at MS as it’s a good place.
But we had a reorg 3 months ago and I really don’t like my boss at all - micromanaging and always challenging in a negative and snappish manner.
Anyone know the process to request a manager change?

Officially if you’ve been in the same role for 3yrs or more you can change your roles by internally applying for open roles.
Also officially you can use the so called open doors policy to bring your unfortunate situation to the attention of either HR or your managers manager. But not too sure if this will get you into the list in the next RIF
Finally and most practically the best approach find another role in another investment bank that you like and have a manager you like to work with.
