There is no doubt that DTV is sinking very fast. I also don't see what could help DTV get back on track, but maybe someone still thinks that there is a strategy that could fix this mess?

If they just focus on streaming services ... DTV will go down even faster. They just have enough customers to support streaming services alone. They are in a bad situation both ways.
The company will cease to exist as it is within 3 yrs. Polish your resume, connect with people on other places that do what you do best, and continue to add to your skill set based on most marketable and in demand skills. It’s the way of business.
Streaming side is most promising. We're adding 4K channels now but the marketing is horrible. We should focus on providing the best product at the cheapest price. The DTV Stream product is pretty good now but marketing is screwing it all up.
concentrating on streaming isn't going to do anything either, considering the performance of all these "+" platforms that aren't seeing much more success than linear.
the ho-e in the market is due to extremely terrible content that nobody wants to watch, least of all at a premium. legacy media has just been supplanted by independent content creators who aren't restricted by a bunch of suits making decisions based on corrupt ESG investors' wants and needs.
transitioning to an ISP or telecom provider would be a much more sustainable strategy, though it's probably a little late for that.
rid themselves of satellite/dish delivery via attrition and concentrate on streaming.
Just in the past week we have been told there is a shortage of lnbs for the dish setups so what you have on your truck is all you get unti next year. So no more installs once you run out. Genie 2s are either in recall for sloppy refurbishment or just plain unavailable. So nix the upgrades until further notice. Techs are still waiting for updated uniforms. The ones we were promised back in March and again in September. Did I mention that we are having trouble paying our bills? Our shop got cut off by the local city trash collection for over 3 months for non-payment. Unpaid utility bills shut down the shops Internet and phone service for a full month. Still have two broken vans sitting at the repair shop waiting to be paid for. But we're doing GREAT according to the happy Muppets on Workplace.
