Thread regarding Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) layoffs

WFRs Monday 10/17

Monday 10/17 will be the day that WFRs will happen. That gives HPE 2 weeks until the end of the fiscal year to get you off the books. As usual this will be a stealth operation and you won't know these people are gone unless you personally know them or someone who does. This is done to keep moral stable.

Do you know anyone in management who has left the company lately? That's a good sign that things aren't going well.

Totally agree, the biggest road blocks are management, and the "superstar" architects/team leads pushing their hype-induced-resume-buliding projects that just add needless complexity and slow down engineering to a snail's pace. Always sad to see a company overrun by bullsh-t artists, but here we are.

The roadblocks are upper management who will stay and keep sucking the life out of HPE! Don't fool yourself, this company has been dead in the water for years.

Bring it on. Get rid of all the deadwood and any roadblock so this company can take off and the ppl who want to work can work. Too many say they’re busy but do f**k all

Yes, two of our directors have left just in the last 2 months. Don't think the cuts will be as deep as usual though. HPE never stops laying off.
