Thread regarding Ricoh layoffs

Ricoh better fix some things

Seems to me like RIcoh has been dropping the ball on many things. Supply issues, billing issues and big time service issues . Little to no direction from management or senior management. It makes you wonder what the future holds.

Maybe if build quality was better things wouldn’t be so bad?

Remember the old aficio 250? Compared to the construction of the xerox dc 230 it was flimsy plastic and connectivity was 3rd party axis print server. But it was cheap and suited that market segment. The same mindset recipe is present at ricoh today: how cheap can I cobble this solution together and still capture the lower end of the market.
