The demarcation for health benefits is January 1, 2006.If you were hired before that date, you have excellent health benefits post-retirement all the way to death. If you were hired after that date, then you have excellent health benefits for only 5 years after retirement.

The employment attractions of medical benefits continuation post-retirement and a defined benefits pension plan were closed by SOC to new hires about 10 years ago.
