Thread regarding Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) layoffs

It’s real

I was WFR’d today. Many other and a major reorg. One hand does not know what the other is doing.

"Told you work from home was not a good idea for US employees! When you demand to work from home this is what you get, a spot in the unemployment line." Yes, for the mo--ns like yourself. I've been working from home for 7 years. So have many other orgs at HPE.

Some cuts were quietly announced in NA yesterday, but nothing to the extent of past layoffs like HPE Next. Don't be surprised to see a trickle of reductions for the next two weeks, because why do them all at once?

Based on the quality of work coming from our HPE overseas counter part, I don't think it will be long before HPE starts hiring in the US again.
Don't fold to the fear. Many jobs out there for people who are able and willing to work.

I'm not sure there was a layoff today, I've been here for 20+ years and I would know, in fact, just the other day.....

hold that thought, my VP is calling, be right back.......

damn!

With Greenlake becoming self serve I am sure management feels that sales will no longer be required. My office floor space was so reduced that you can only have 15 people there. Another faceless corporation.

They are planning a reorg to implement an offshore "work from home" workforce. Told you work from home was not a good idea for US employees! When you demand to work from home this is what you get, a spot in the unemployment line.
