I noticed the Bose name used a few times today in relation to the over the counter hearing aids. Well done!

Nothing says success like selling a product to someone else because you lack the means or skills to sell it yourself. They did all the work and gave it to Lexie. Keep I’m mind headphones was the first (not really) and then the hearing aids quickly came and went away. All this time and resources gone. Also what was the deal with the Amazon product that used the Bose noise canceling , how did that do?
Yup. The OTC rules were changed, which benefitted every company trying to get into the market. But Bose was too slow to jump into the new market, because everything Bose makes is years behind schedule, and when it is finally released, it's years behind the competitors and the expectations of the consumers. A day (years) late, and a dollar (millions) short. The story of Bose Corporation.
Amar always refused to license Bose IP to other companies. Now, it may be the only thing the company has of value.
When will ASD be sold off? That's the last remaining division that's sometimes successful. Even though they've been reduced to making fake engine noise for midlife-crisis Corvette owners.
This is sad for Bose - another massive failure - they got the otc rules changed and then did nothing to leverage that and barely got a product launched and it’s so embarrassing to have this company on my resume. People just nod politely when I tell them I worked there.
True but they can not be purchased through Bose.
