Thread regarding Apache Corp. layoffs

Apache seems directionless

I intend to submit my resignation because this company has never seemed more directionless than it does now. If the leadership had some concrete and serious long-term plans, the management would at least care a little more about knowledgeable employees, but obviously they don't.

You should buy more shale like everyone who was successful in driving their once-thriving oil companies into the ground.

There is a direction alright. Planning is running this mess right into the ground full steam ahead while the executives standby and watch. How many f’ups can they get away with before they run out of fall guys and the BOD steps in and saves their own as--s?

There’s been clear direction. Only it’s been downward.

They think success comes from tons tons of planning, DP came from a finance company, that just manages money, does not actually generates the money.

Lol you're not gonna do it. And if you do, less than 4 months from bonuses, you're a fool.

Here here! Planning is lol, what value do they even bring? The assets feed them all the information and they still can’t get it right!

So paying millions of dollars a year to have dozens of people working on the 3year plan doesn’t help. Maybe they should hire more people and go back to the 5year plan. Lol. What a joke the planning group has become and mgmt is incapable of making decisions other than to sell something or have layoffs.
