All this mess in the company now, I think is primarily a consequence of the fact that the leadership does not have any vision or any well-designed plan for the future. They have completely lost their direction. Do you agree? It is also questionable how much they even care about the future of this company.

This company will go Chapter 11 in the next few years and T-Mobile will pick over the carcass. what is it...$35 BILLION in liabilities, revenues continuing to fall Q-on-Q, no plans for growth, divi cut and the dividend is why most instis held this stock - there is absolutely no reason anyone in their right mind would want to buy or hold Lumen stock now. The problem here is they are running out of assets to sell and as debt rolls over they are gonna have to pay a much higher coupon. This Company is finished folks.
They could care less as long as their homes and families are fine inept I hate them all my dad used to call people like this shisters
Legacy green employee here. I was set back when the L3 management said “we do not give merit or cost of living raises”. Well that has played true for the past 5 years and after quadrupling my work load and micro managing everything everything I had heard prior to the merger has been true! Top heavy with management who get the huge raises and perks and not even a trickle down effect.
But,, one thing I have figured out in 5 years is I see why Storey made the statement about raises. Most of the former TW and L3 folks are lazy, back stabbing and don’t deserve to even be here. I guess raises are good for the guys who steadily run to the boss about everything he or she hears. Be it true or not, their boss eats all the attention up.
One company is a straight up lie. Just try and open a project for 2 cables side by side in the ground but you’ll need to project numbers. What a joke! Just a couple more years and they can have it.
This company has 35 Billion in debt. Even with the 7 from Apollo’s buy they will go bankrupt! Add on the sell off of core assets, they don’t have a chance! Prove me wrong!?

Everyone are gone. One tech covers the areas where there used to be 20 or more techs. During the good days, it was one tech per 1000 customers. Now its, one tech per for remaining customers.
They have been paying the dividend and pretty much ki----g the company to do it. Think of all the fiber they could have installed for the more than 10 billion dollar paid in dividends in the last ten years on top of the budget they actually had. The board stole all the profits legally and now there is a 10 percent of the customer base that the plant had. No fiber in 90 percent of the service areas. The only possible future is bankruptcy because nobody wants the old US West footprint that was ra--d to line the CEO and boards pockets.
If you're legacy CTL(green side) your done. All I do is take calls for every other group and looking at how the metrics are structured its a no win. Figure I will be canned within six months and no longer fretting over it.
The plan I believe has nothing to do with growing the company or keeping the stockholders and employees happy.
Its about the inevitable control of the internet and what goes through it and what is allowed to be said.

Kate’s new 5 year plan will be to sell off the rest of pieces, Europe, Asia then the Local states that are left and then the remaining national fiber national fiber network . Level3/Qwest/US West/Centurylink/Lumen will be no more.
It really is comical what has happened around here since the ousting of Glen!!! level3 management takes over (same great mgmt team that brought $35B in debt with them) and brings in their cronies for the rollout of the 4th Industrial revolution. Bean counters quickly walked/forced many great people out, brain washed the union reps and managed to demoralize the few good workers they have left. Meanwhile…inserting layers of management titles (sheeple) to push their culture change, wokeisms and Pay for Performance agendas with unattainable metrics for everyone except Executive leadership. Look, I can go on and on with the last 5 years of mis-management and the layers that got us here but…I’m just a du*b tech and not suppose to be “seeing” this stuff at my level. So I will end with this, we have been stripped of all access, training, benefits and micro managed to death since this leadership (use this term loosely here) change. This is where all the great leadership changes have lead…I am currently doing very little field work (20% weekly) and managing the SE’s, CCM’s, PM’s, SDE’s (80%) so I can go do my 20% work I just created myself! Somehow, they still have us tying our retirement funds to all this “leadership brilliance” around the world!! Aaaaahhhhh, now we know why they get the golden parachutes they do….smoke and mirrors my friends!! 4th Industrial Revolution class 101 has concluded for now
Any company Jeff Storey heads turn to complete garbage. He’s the worst CEO I have ever worked for & he's an even worse leader.
Get rid of anyone who cares about quality or speaks the truth can't have any of that.
