My first year at centene, how much are annual raises. Do anyone ever get a bonus?

You are either completely deluded or one of the useless leaders who reap bonuses from all the employees who do all the work. You know the ones that don't deserve raises, bonuses, or any other incentive anymore but are expected to do the work of all the employees that were laid off. Oh, and the ones that don't sit in meetings all day long because if they don't meet metrics they are threatened with being fired? That's why YOU can afford the sh---y healthcare benefits this company offers. May be take your own advice and "simmer down".
“I have to say, that it is beyond concerning when a significant portion of the task force employed by a Managed Healthcare Company cannot afford the health insurance offered to them.”
How???? Nah you living beyond your means. Simmer down. Our insurance is affordable. Even if you don’t meet the incentive for reduced rates through Healthy Pathways.
Just had my yearly meeting for compensation. I was rated at meets even though I exceeded. I have been with the company 8 years on the admin support side in Claims OPS hourly. 8 years and I was only making $22.61 an hr - I got a whole 2.6% increase - a whole extra 0.59 cents an hour - $23 a week - WTF? Why even bother - no COLA - bonuses/KCA?PFPs gone since 2023. Disgusting and shameful. Hope all these contractors work out for you Centene because you get what you pay for. I'm out the second I can find another job and I will not be going over meeting expectations ever again.
When are bonuses paid?
My PL said she wasn’t allowed to ever give anyone higher than meets expectations so I never expected anything higher.
My dept is medical management dual plan, incompetent PL, since these coworkers came into power, morale has changed. We just do our job, I go above and beyond and yet PL, put meets expectation, what a downer!! No longer will i give ideas or suggestions. The Director don't know how people feel, lots of phonyness and kiss up. Pitiful!!
I am a supervisor. My lead and another staff member will get a higher bonus and raise. My goals were not attainable due to staffing with no backfills for the members I lost.
My "raise" was 39 cents...
If you're an RN and you don't get a bonus then your pay grade isn't M/C7.
Member facing and non member facing is no different if your pay grade is M/C7, you still get a bonus. Member facing is BS jargon to justify the LTSS SENIOR Service Care Manager position for PH. Why doesn't the LTSS SENIOR Service Care Manager position translate over to BH? Why are member facing and non member facing LTSS Service Care Managers all lumped together under pay grade L/C5?
No longer receive bonuses, quarterly bonuses or KCAs, just the yearly raise. The higher ups get the bonuses. When asked why aren't the bonuses coming back, basically told to find another job or get over it and stop asking.
If you advocated and recommended your employee for a raise, imagine how many didn’t? Imagine a PL advocating for employees that do no work and make the rest look bad because the company can’t grow. How is this acceptable? So some will get the .98% and others 4% or whatever is the highest. So is it really based on performance or how much your boss advocates for you?
Not everyone who works for Centene is an RN. There is a range of roles from member-facing to non-member-facing.
Not all RNs receive a bonus :/
Bonus starts at M/C7, basically if you're an RN you get a bonus. Everyone else, not so much unless you're a TL, Manager, and so on...
M and higher only for bonuses and the “raise” 2-4% if you’re lucky. I’ve gotten 4% the last couple years but only because my manager advocated for it.
HR can fact check anything lol. Has HR reviewed the raises, bonuses, and promotions to ensure fairness? An employee with absolutely no work can get exceeds, bonus and promotions, while another with a heavy workload gets meets, no bonus, no promotion. Fact check it and tell me everything is fair.
@nf+1jjaj7825 see what I mean? yes, this person really did get a KCA and not only am I not salty, I recommended them for it. I hope you get help with managing your anger.
I have to say, that it is beyond concerning when a significant portion of the task force employed by a Managed Healthcare Company cannot afford the health insurance offered to them.
100% Nepotism. Paranoia? Paranoia would imply fear that something is going to happen when, in this instance, it already has. If you're going to use a term to try to support your distorted view of reality, at least use one that you understand its meaning. It sounds like you might be a bit salty because your colleague got a KCA (if at this point that is even the truth) and you didn't.
When I started at WellCare making 60k my first bonus was 15k very happy and surprised. Before cnc takeover my salary was 96k and bonus was at 20k. Cnc wanted to balance things and my salary now is 110k and and 8k bonus. I guess Sarah gets the the big bucks. What a disgrace. Glad to say my last days are numbered on my own timetable and will never have to apologize for working for managed care. It always bothered me that our front line staff with young children were eligible for Medicaid. I’m waiting for the day SL’s kids visit here through the penal system. What a corrupt bunch of do gooders. It only last for a short time. Take a look at how many of SL and Drew’s (oh yeah Ken BurDICK’s) flunkies stick around. Just long enough to grab a few million $$$ for the poor and needy who are supposed to be the recipients.
@en+1jjaj7825 not nepotism, not a liar. a non-management member of our non-member facing team was awarded a KCA within the last month. you should trying being more informed and less paranoid.
The bonuses for M and higher is a joke. Half of my team is M and higher and do absolutely nothing. The other half is told to work more so they can get their bonus. I don’t know who came up with the bonus structure but it was the perfect plan for the PL to help their friends on the team get paid and do absolutely nothing. Some people are just good at beating the system.
No reason for me to lie about my raise. I imagine this year will also be in the same ballpark. I of course no longer get bonuses. Sorry that your department didnt offer as much.
ALL PFP, KCAs, and Quality Bonuses for anyone in admin (non-member facing) support were removed for non-management employees or maybe you are on a team where nepotism runs rampant but more likely you're just a liar.
Most I got was 2% PL said thats all she can give no matter what I do as she can only score meets expectations every year for her team.
KCAs were not removed. there’s plenty to complain about without making sh*t up.
If you get above 3% then you are a highly valued collaborator so keep up the good work and burn the mid-night oil.
Interesting people complaining about raises. Last year mine was 4.75 percent. Most we could get in our department was 5
My first raise after being hired was 4% however I think it depends on your manager liking you as well. I don’t expect that much this go around but I think it’s different for everyone, I’ve never received any bonuses as those are primarily for management and up unfortunately. Good luck
Don't hold your breath. No, unless you are in management, you will not get a bonus and will be lucky to get anything over the measly 3% merit increase. Look forward to those not doing the work getting extra pay for your time & effort. They removed all bonuses and KCAs from non-management employees in 2023. I don't know what they sold you on to get you to accept working here, but I imagine it was anything, including not being truthful about compensation.
If you are below a Grade M, your bonus is zero, nada, nothing. My first raise was 0.69%. Good luck!
