“Ahead of earnings season, Loop Capital has compiled a note on all things generative artificial intelligence-related. And while some of their findings are positive, the opposite may be true for Dell Technologies (NYSE:DELL).
Analysts Ananda Baruah and John Donovan believe the Round Rock, Texas-based company is dealing with larger push outs of generative AI server orders than previously expected.
“While not yet fully fleshed out (this will be our charge the next few weeks ahead of DELL’s Jan Q EPS), we’ve done enough work to say that this has the potential to impact DELL’s CY2025 Gen AI Server results in a manner that would be noticeable to both us and Street,” the analysts wrote.
