HPE gotta pay it’s breakup and cancellation penalty to Juniper but then again that money ain’t going to employees or shareholders.

Deep breath everyone. There are always rumors and stories when there is billion dollar acquisitions. No one here who post is sitting behind the closed doors (or who post with any article on the internet) who knows the facts, if they do they risk going to jail and thousand dollar of fines. Make no mistake, it is hard when it is your career and the ability to provide for your family is in jeopardy due to a few people in a room making decisions (so lets not forget the real human emotions when people post). Only advice is lean on your friends, your co-workers and family...

Not a definitive thing either way, until the DOJ, Juniper or HPE makes an announcement for real. All up in air until then. Maybe it's planted info knowing it will be approved to drive stock price down and those sneaky Dems are buying up all the stock to profit off the acquisition ;)

They can go to court but it's a drawn out and an expensive process. HPE might just walk away at that time without having to pay the breakup fee.

Does this mean that all these meetings with HPE will stop? Too many of them and its overwhelming. Mine start at 6 am :-(

Can Juniper-HPE go to court to appeal against DoJ's decision?
