Thread regarding Juniper Networks Inc. layoffs

Hewlett Packard Enterprise and Juniper Networks Strongly Oppose Department of Justice’s Decision to File Suit to Block Acquisition

"We believe the Department of Justice’s analysis of this acquisition is fundamentally flawed and we are disappointed in its decision to file a suit attempting to prohibit the closing of the transaction. We will vigorously defend against the Department of Justice’s overreaching interpretation of antitrust laws and will demonstrate how this transaction will provide customers with greater innovation and choice, positively change the dynamics in the networking market by enhancing competition, and strengthen the backbone of U.S. networking infrastructure."

It’s over. Stop dreaming of the acquisition to occur.

Hate the company and its work culture . Making us work like slaves , managers and directors reap the benefits by winning awards and trips to Cabo and now we have to fear our positions at the company . Not like it’s giving me anything but the market is brutal out there and for boomers like us it’s a blood bath .

It will be hard to beat the United States of America, especially if Trump is involved in any way shape or form.

A lot if money to spend when you are fighting against an entire country and their values, only to come out on the losing end.

Opinion: JNPR/HPE will win this suit. Cisco lobby hard at work. Good day for lawyers.

This situation reflects poorly on the leadership of both companies involved.

Antonio's recent statement to the media, asserting that “we expect this deal to go through,” turned out to be misleading.

Conversely, the executives at Juniper Networks are likely to be extremely dissatisfied, as they will not receive their anticipated “golden parachute” packages and must continue in their roles to address the significant complications arising from the failed agreement.

Man I'd hate to be in the Sunnyvale office today. (they just announced a layoff next few weeks in that office alone with the WARN notice.)

Now this.
