Thread regarding Juniper Networks Inc. layoffs

DOJ complaint states that no further engagement with HPE

Preliminarily and permanently enjoin and restrain Defendants and all persons
acting on their behalf from consummating HPE’s acquisition of Juniper or from
entering into or carrying out any other contract, agreement, plan, or
understanding, the effect of which would be to combine HPE and Juniper in the
United States.

How can ntegration planning even continue, given the above?

J-leadership is the root of all evil. These parasites eat joy and sh-t destruction for a living.

The only saving grace in all this was DOJ's praise of Juniper's MIST tech in their report. Hope Juniper can cash in on this and not sc--w up. Wishful thinking.

Aruba is sc--wed.

In the word salad the HR lady mumbled, I caught the 3 magic words, BUSINESS AS USUAL. She is Juniper's version of our ex Madame Vice President Ms KH. Meanwhile the other KH is touting, JUNIPER ALWAYS WINS. And RR says that HPE-Juniper combination will be the best networking company on the planet (Hello Arista, Cisco, etc.).

I would love to smoke whatever these jokers are smoking. Seems quite potent.

F!ck!! Should’ve dumped Juniper stocks last Friday when it hit north of $39!

Management is really living in fantasy land. Even AI cannot hallucinate like them. Completely out of touch.
Even the Mist Man came back to comment. ROFL.

A year completely wasted on working on this integration which most likely might not materialize. It's head scratching how much business information was shared with HPE which might be used against us. An utter failure of leadership who had hyped about this being the best networking combo on the planet and now are over confident about winning in courts against the Trump DOJ. Fooled me once, I am getting outta here.

Zero trust in the current leadership. They look like egotistical clowns after this latest disaster. Their only incentive is to cash out after the deal closes. I am waiting for the March bonus and getting the he-l out of here. I know many others who are planning to do the same. Good luck retaining the good talent.

Litigation is a big co-k block for the execs who were planning to cash in on this deal and retire. Also to the folks whose retention bonuses were tied to the close day.

Whoever runs lobbying or government affairs for HPE/JNPR should be unemployed Monday.

Can take 9 to 12 mo. The recent Albertson Kroger complaint was filed by the DOJ in Feb and was upheld by the courts last December. If the deal doesn't close, HPE is on the hook to pay Juniper a termination fee of $815m.

Agree on the comments. Management has been very cocky. Nice spin on the DEI.

How long will the litigation take?

The leadership has been nothing but Delusional, Entitled & Incompetent. Somebody in the HPE legal side seems to have dropped the ball. The scenario of 70% WLAN market share for Cisco-HPE & the power of Cisco lobbyists were grossly underestimated.

On the bright side, the DOJ complaint report made Juniper look really good.

Juniper leadership was quite optimistic that the deal would definitely close today. And now think they can win the litigation against the DOJ. To say that Juniper always wins is beyond delusional. Arrogance and greed will be their and unfortunately the company's downfall. The hard working employees will eventually suffer.

Continuation of work on the integration planning will be in direct violation of the DOJ complaint from above. Hope the leadership is not stupid enough to take that risk.
