Every red flag possible indicating something is seriously wrong with the company has been raised at Belk over the last five to six years. Bankruptcy, corporate lawsuits, store closings, vendor nonpayment, lack of store maintenance, a non visible CEO, drastically underpaid rank and file and drastically overpaid executives, and the list goes on and on and on…….If you’re still working at Belk, it’s because you don’t want to or for whatever reason can’t find something else. Nobody would still work there who is concerned about their career and/or future.
This company runs by reacting to one emergency after another. If they do make a plan, it gets thrown out the window so they can react to the current emergency. You are right about spend spend spend , then comes the OMG we are in a financial crisis ….again.
No layoffs yet...how is that possible....spend spend spend until everything is a dumpster fire
