NOTE the history with #Aspect and the 2 Verizon numbΒ·skulls at #Alvaria (*the all-too-willing 'shove subscription onto Avaya clients' head of sales & the brainiac who decimated sales engineering, who bizarrely has a 'strategy' role @ Alvaria).

Somehow ML has bullied the board to keep her after being flat out fired multiple times in the past 6 mos with less than a year in role. And, in the middle of extreme downsizing, she has hired countless friends with ZERO COUNTRY LEADERSHIP BACKGROUND TO run entire global regions. And then they hired friends. My most favorite is the guy responsible for Asia, including India, who has NEVER BEEN TO INDIA!!! How the heck did that contract pass the BoD????
Now that's a magical skill set she could bottle and sell. She must be so proud.

ONWARD AND DOWNWARD, PEOPLE!
PS....I do give PD credit. He doesn't hide being an AxxxHole. He is very open about it. He doesn't mislead on his agenda. He is singularly focused on his PE Metrics.

Correct!

The industry all KNOWS about ML. Eric at Zoom (Cisco)/Genesys/ etc etc. Even if she did have M&A skills, her known reputation blocks her from a seat at the discussion table.

That would make sense Curious minds want to KNOW!. DA is really good and adapts really well in terrible situations. Not sure how ML could negotiate anything based on her performance, but she must have some nugget to use to save her *ss. She's a prime example of how you can be really good when selling a hot product, but not too special when it's difficult.

It is literally the most probable theory. Sad but true.

Revenue is escaping. The head of SLED is gone. And that was the most profitable revenue generator. Writing is on the wall. They can't con any more people. It is what it is. (PS....shameful of ML. She's all pro women and then let's go the most likable women who was very successful? Which friend did ML need to make room for this time????)

Now is there seriously ANY benefit to Aspect alignment? Or is it just a shift of PE investors to buy 2-3 more years for both groups?

Keep in mind ...they can't engage on any deals until the EMEA abd LATAM cuts are complete. We've heard little on Duetschland. We understand that to be the most difficult region to close offices within. They need all of those variables off-the-books before they are capable of negotiating. And, like these things go, they have dragged out a lot longer than Bain anticipated when they first presented the marching orders to leadership.

Sadly, Avayas valuation is evaporating. So they may find a balance and negotiate something sooner before the valuation bottom drops and they are drowning in Chapter 7.

I heard that DA has been CRO since they asked ML to resign in Sept. She is staying for optics and has negotiated money for herself and all of her "buddies" around the world (or the people all hired in last 6 mos) but has no authority. Is that true?
