As a former employee, I am curious why there has not been a signed deal with the union as if yet. Last update was 11/23.

I'm reasonably sure they would happily lose all of the union staff so they won't budge on anything. There is a glut os Avaya trained engineers in the channel and they can easily pay for them if something monumental happens to a customer under maintenance. But the reality is that it's just software at this point and that can be supported off-shore.
Avaya had a judge sign off saying that avaya bargained in good faith yet the union wouldn't agree to terms.. same thing happens with credit card companies they hire a retire judge to file judgements gainst individuals who ignore paying bills.
