severance agreement states no "bonus" will be paid
To the person who said.....
"Probably no bonus...one of the requirements to get it is that you're still employed at the time of payout...they let us go before they had to do that."
That "might" be. I would not put it past them (Highmark) to do that. But, in my case, I retired in October 2018, and was able to collect the 2018 bonus in March 2019 (five months after I walked out the door). Hopefully, those let go will be able to do the same, but maybe they treat "retired" and "let go" differently when it comes to bonuses.
Over 20 reps and bunch of BAs. Not sure who else.
Same as above but only employed 8 months. Suddenly let go with no information aside from "your position has been eliminated"
I haven’t seen the 2/13 layoffs in the news

I would think that the bonus would still apply. As long as you worked 1,000 hours during the year applicable to the bonus (i.e. 2024), you should still receive it.
Is everyone who has been laid off since 1/1/2025 still getting their 2024 bonus (at whatever rate the board approves)?
It was not only employees who were "off track" that were let go. There were actually 1 or 2 high performers that I know of and people with 100% quality or close. I personally was "on track" and was let go. It is what is, no sense in trying to determine how they pick who gets cut.
In our termination meeting we were told that we were still "technically" employees for the next two weeks (minus access to the system, which was cut off right there and then) and we would be paid as normal, with the same benefits, at the end of those two weeks. Then when the severance notice was sent to our personal email, it explained that contingent on our return of company resources (laptop, cellphone, etc.) we would be eligible for the severance package which amounts to 2 weeks pay for every year of service, and COBRA health insurance for roughly the same amount of time, where the company is paying the same portion as before.
Can someone who was actually laid off confirm the severance? There is always conflicting information being put out here on these formus. Sometimes you hear its 2 weeks total overall and sometimes it is 2 weeks per year of service capped at 1 year's severance pay for very long term service employees. Please help 🙏
I heard employees who were off track were let go this time. If this is true that would explain why they were only given a 2 week severance pay
2 weeks for each year of service, capped at 52 weeks. 18 mos of COBRA (by law), although perk to sign severance agreement is company offers to pay what they contribute as if still employed and you pay your portion as previously paid.
70 axed
Health Plan Operations lost 60 people. I'm not sure if other areas were affected.
It should be 2 weeks for every year of service capped at one year.
What business units? Have not heard anything about this
So regardless of years of service, severance is the same - 2 weeks and that’s it?
Once again, regular Thursday layoffs. Thankfully I am no longer working there. They have no clue on how to run a company.
Which areas are impacted? Did not hear anything. Highmark or enGen
And benefits only until end of month.
Yes
What areas?
Working there less than 2 years?
I can attest to this happening today. New layoffs with no warning and only 2 weeks pay.
Anymore info?
