API Targets by level? (Cigna MA employee)

Does anyone know the API/bonus targets by level at HCSC and care to share? Also, can anyone speak to what percent of target is "typical"?

Currently at Cigna, Advisor target is 10%, Manager is 12%, Sr. Advisor is 15%, Sr. Manager 18%, Director 25%, Sr. Director 30%. We can be awarded 0-200% of target but people generally expect to be around 85-115% of target based on past years. Sr. Managers and up are also eligible for LTI at Cigna and I'm aware that goes away for anyone below VP once we move to HCSC.

According to Jill, our API pool will reflect our “outstanding” results. Hmm.

Hourly: 5%
Salaried supervisors & professionals: 7.5%
Senior professional thru senior managers: 15%
Directors: 25%

VPs and up have their own thing going on.

Those %s increased this year, probably to bring us closer to Cigna’s. They also increased max payout from 150 to 200% of target. TBD what the payout looks like this year. We’re always “doing great” until the few months before API payout, when we are “facing headwinds”. We are scheduled to be “doing great” again in April.

mid-professional and supervisor roles are 7.5%, i think sr. professional and manager-level are 15-18% now, not sure on higher roles, hopefully someone else will chime in. the individual and company performance modifiers make a big difference, especially the company performance modifier which has provided a boost the last few years.
