Buzzword slinging is the hallmark or symptom of companies lacking a strategy, just a few legacy clients to milk and good "credit" at the bank (to borrow more money)
When Jensen Huang said that useful Quantum Computers are 15-30 years away, he was talking best case scenario. Worst case scenario is that they are impossible to build because of how errors are distributed. Most likely case scenario is that they are 50-75 years away. Anyone talking about them in the next 3-5 years is a liar or an id--t or both.
Tell Alvind the Ignorant that AI is already here and running already all over. AND that the quantum computing from companies like Google and Microsoft is way ahead of anything that IBM has or will have. As they say, talk is cheap and Alvind needs to operate his circus at a higher level and make sure it gets more profitable with time. But first, can he make the share price go to $300+ a share ?
